Cloud Computing Performance Project: Worked on performance
engineering of Huawei’s SingleCloud, including overall performance, ECS, OBS,
and VBS performance, and solve key performance issues, such as SingleCloud
performance baseline, ECS VM status inquiries and IDC capacity to manage up
to 2M VMs in a cluster, OBS performance improvements, and my own prefix
search approaches to speedup the OBS query for less than 1 sec. Ø
Sky-incident-related HA, deep analysis of Sky-incidents and
their root causes in chips, inter-communication, and platform, and proposed
platform HA enhancements and their implementation; Ø
Attended and contributed to IETF and IETS/NFV standards, in the
areas such as SIP overload control, WEBRTC, RMCAT, NFV SW architecture, HA,
